Cultural, historical and artistic heritage
Preliminary studies allow us to understand the current condition of a cultural, historical or artistic asset requiring conservation or restoration measures. They provide the scientific basis for making decisions about the future of the cultural asset.
We study the material characteristics of each cultural asset through analyses and multispectral studies (ultraviolet light, infrared, optical microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and laboratory analysis of samples). This allows us to enhance technical reports, diagnoses and Conservation Projects.
This work is carried out in coordination with a multidisciplinary team of professionals in architecture, archaeology, chemistry, history, art history, and conservation and restoration, with an institutional scope.
Our commitment to cultural heritage goes beyond the historical or technical research of the work, as our activities also involve disseminating our work through open days, conferences and the ongoing publication of articles in scientific journals. We always seek to promote good practices and raise awareness in society.
