MENIA RESTORATION & HERITAGE
Immovable cultural assets (historic buildings and archaeological sites) are heritage assets that require constant conservation work to ensure their maintenance and preservation as a historical legacy and as a source of knowledge.
Due to their fragility as immovable cultural assets and being exposed to environmental conditions and the natural environment, their stability will largely depend on the understanding of these factors. Our work is to try to balance the altering factors to prevent future degradation processes, following the criterion of minimal intervention.
Our proposals focus on:
- Comprehensive projects of conservation-restoration and enhancement of cultural assets.
- Assessment of the conservation status of historic facades and mural paintings.
- Preventive wall catas for the documentation of mural paintings from the 18th and 19th centuries.
- Preventive conservation projects.
- Diagnosis and studies on alteration factors.
- Cleaning, maintenance, and adaptation projects for archaeological sites.
- Emergency treatments on-site.
